Yesterday, the Upper West Side saw something new and special. Superfly Dispensary hosted its first Mahjong event on Wednesday, October 15, and it was a complete success. What began as a small idea quickly became a packed Afternoon  filled with excitement, laughter, and connection.

The space transformed into a lively hub where neighbors gathered to relax, learn, and have fun together, a true reflection of what makes events Upper West Side so unique.

A Full House and All Levels of Play

The response was incredible. The event reached a full house faster than expected, showing just how much the community loves to come together.

Bonnie, our amazing instructor, led the session with warmth and patience. She made it easy for beginners to learn the game while keeping it engaging for more advanced players. Tables were split by level, creating a perfect balance between friendly teaching and competitive play.

From the first shuffle of tiles to the last game of the Afternoon, everyone stayed engaged, laughing, and sharing stories across the tables.
